Home Access & Services Report

This flexible report format can be utilised in a number of ways:

  • Our accessibility based architects can assist you (and your Occupational Therapist) to carry out design modifications to your home – often bathroom refits or external entry ramps – thereby enabling safe and ongoing habitation.
  • We all need a regular check up – and your home is no different – the report checklist forms the basis for an architectural assessment – then providing you with an understanding of a desirable block of work to keep it in good shape.

The Home Access & Services Report has been developed by Archicentre Australia to help you remain living safely in your own home for as long as possible. After all, you’ll feel happier and more secure.

An architect can assess your home inside and outside, identifying health and safety concerns including those areas requiring maintenance and modifications. This will establish a prioritised list for you, your advisers (including Occupational Therapists) and the architect can quickly establish the most important areas demanding design attention before you go about organising quotes and construction.

Once the works are completed we strongly recommend that you seek a further assessment by the architect.

By eliminating health and safety risks, you’ll be prolonging independence, your quality of life, as well as adding value to your home.
